Eunice Musiime is a feminist lawyer, social justice activist, development practitioner, and leadership development enthusiast, with over 17 years of advancing gender and social justice at national, regional, and international levels. She is the current Executive Director of Akina Mama wa Afrika, a feminist Pan African development organization. She has served on several Boards of Not-for-Profit Organizations including serving as the Chairperson of the Association of Women Lawyers (FIDA-Uganda) from 2014-2016 and is currently a Board Member at the Center for Basic Research. Eunice holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Dar es Salaam University, Tanzania, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. A wife and mother of three, she is passionate about flourishing families and spending fun times with loved ones. In 2017 She authored a book “Nurture or Nature: Sowing Seeds of Greatness” an exploration of positive parenting. Her latest book “Akinyi: the young shero” published in December 2021 is a children’s book that seeks to create awareness about gender-based violence.
