Sophie Carol Wanyenze is a queer African Feminist, a mother and Human Rights  Defender.

Sophie is passionate about young women taking up leadership spaces, feminist living  and holistic healing justice.

She is a founder of a feminist queer entity called Queer Women Leaders Uganda(QWLU) that is making sure minority and marginalised women take up political, social and economic spaces, SRHR advocacy and policy influencing, while centering holistic healing justice at the She sits on the Steering Committee of the Uganda LBQ Loose Network  and on the Boards of many human rights entities.
